I joined paperbackswap.com and swapadvd.com. I was never one to throw away a book and I have some DVDs laying around I never watch. (Thank you for the wonderful gift but…).
These websites are book/DVD trading sites. It’s all new to me but I’m already shipping two DVDs and have a book waiting for a wish list confirmation. I think it’s a good start.
